Kalimantan Dance

Rori Mandau literallymeans "Mandau Dance" and refers to a unique sword found among the indigenous Dayak people of Kalimantan, This dance was tradtionally performedby teh Dayak onthe eve of battle,or by young men upon reaching maturity. Dayak dances are generally religious and seasonal in nature, and are also performed around hunting planting and the harvest.
