Anna Jayoon Jung

 Anna performs Jang-go chum which is a dacne performed with the Janggu instrument on the shoulders. It can be performed solo or in a group, and the movement of the feet is quick and joyous.

Traditional Koren dance has its roots in prehistoric religious rites, which hounored the gods while also allowin gpeoplr ot sing and dance during the ceremony.Korean dance later became more formalized, and wall paintings soon began toapprear depicting popel danceing. Today, Korean dance is considered more than a simple form of entertainment- it is an expresskon of a metaphysical philosophy. Koreans believed that the Hynman body is a universe unto itself, and that humankind's ideal existence lies in harmony with the sky and earth.
